A 19th-century French curved, single-edged cavalry saber. Three markings can be seen on both sides of the blade’s ricasso. The hilt is of bronze with filigree decoration of floral and laurel motifs. The handle is of leather with a wrapped wire coil.

L: 38 1/2 in., (97.8 cm.)
Condition: Signs of wear and tear due to age. Light pitting throughout the blade and signs of wear and age on the scabbard.
