This Ottoman flintlock pistol is likely from the 19th Century and still bears a piece of flint in the hammer. Brass mounts hold the handle which is slightly curved with a round pommel. The brass pommel features an intricate design with flowing and triangular lines as well as an arched floral motif. The stock is deeply carved with leafy vines near the breech which continue to the underside of the barrel. Brass inlay is seen on the backend of the stock continuing the same curved, flowing lines focus. The trigger guard and coinciding brass plate convey a celestial theme with images of stars and a possible moon icon. The barrel band wraps into the ramrod housing and depicts images of banners and weaponry. The hammer, lock plate, and barrel are all engraved with possibly linguistic characters.

Condition: Good overall. Expected signs of age and wear. Dents along rigger guard. Slight split ramrod housing. Ramrod missing. Hammer action is extremely stiff and jams. Some of the brass inlay has fallen out.
