Circular form, outer frame made of fruitwood and applied with eight silver-gilt low-relief mounts featuring Egyptian motifs, all individually marked. Inner frame of light blue guilloche enamel. The reverse is mounted with a scroll silver strut and a loop for hanging the frame.

Marked in Cyrillic ‘EK’, Moscow 1901-1908 84 silver hallmark standard.

Dimensions: H: 4 3/4 in., (12 cm.)

Condition: Vertical crack in wood to the right from the central medallion on top. The medallion is missing two mounting nails and is loose. Silver-gilt mounts and strut have tarnished. The Glass insert covering the aperture is slightly loose.
