The oval icon of St. Alexandra is hand-painted in oil on a metal plate. Housed in a silver frame with a fitting ring on top. Hallmarks: an 84th Imperial Russian silver standard, a kokoshnik mark, and the Cyrillic maker’s mark ‘IG’ possibly for Ivan Gavrilov, 1898, Malanyino village.
