A nicely crafted German porcelain figure titled ‘Dressage du Falcon’ [Falcon Training]. The piece shows the trainer in medieval clothes seated in a chair, a hunter’s horn on his lap and his falcon resting on his hand. The underside of the piece bears multiple inscriptions, some carved into the porcelain itself and some painted, such as the title and the crozier maker’s mark of Dressel, Kister & Cie.
