A highly decorated porcelain vase created by the Kornilov Porcelain Factory in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin, Russia’s most famous and important poet. The piece is decorated throughout with brightly painted foliate and geometric patterns as well as Cyrillic text around the rim. Each side bears an image at center, one with a scene from Pushkin’s writings, and the other with a portrait of Pushkin himself.
